A unique and most modern
Senior Citizen Home for old age people was established at Hamiragachi (Hubali), West Bengal on January
21, 2005 by Manav Sewa Trust. The senior citizen home - Apna
Ashiana is 45 kilometers from Kolkata equipped with all modern facilities
and comfort for old age people. The Apna Asiana is spread in a
spacious ground of 35,000 square feet. Apna- Ashiyana have a beautiful
garden, a splendid temple of Lord Shiva, a specious Hall (Sabhagar),
a large dinning hall, well equipped library, gymnasium, big rooms
for old age people and guest rooms, dispensary with experienced
doctor and trained nurses, office, clean water and other modern necessary facilities
.

Inauguration: The Inauguration ceremony was
performed by Ananta Sri Bibhusit Jyotispithadiswara and Dwarka
Sarda Pithadiswara Jagadaguru Sankarachrya Swami Swarupananda
Swarswati ji Maharaj on October 27, 2005.
Temple:
A magnificent temple of lord Shiva has been built on 3,000 square feet land in Apna Ashiana. Here old age people can prayer and
worship in a calm and peaceful environment.
Auditorium: A most modern type
large auditorium covering 3,000 square feet is constructed in Apna
Ashiana equipped with mikes and musical instruments. Bajans,
Pravchans and spiritual discourses (Satsangs) are organised here regularly for the spiritual upliftment of old age people.
Garden: Apna Asiana is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Different varieties of beautiful
flowers and aromatic plants creates an ideal and natural environment
for the healthy and peaceful life of old citizen.
Dinning Hall: A specious dinning
hall of 2000 square feet is built for Ashiana's old age people. The
dinning hall is attached with a a large store and modern kitchen.
Pure vegetarian food is served here to the residents of Ashiana.
Gymnasium: A spacious and modern
Gymnasium is constructed in the Ashiana's compound for the benefit
of old age people. Yoga, Ashana, physical exercise are conducted
here in the supervision of a trained person.
Guestrooms: Ten well
decorated guestrooms were constructed in the first and second floors in Ashiana's building for the guests.
Dispensary: A
dispensary in Ashiayan is built to look after the health problems,
regular medical check-up of the old age people under the able guidance of trained nurses and experienced doctor.
Clean drinking water:
Ashiana has its own water treatment plant with a tube well for the old age people.
Power: To maintain a
regular power supply, a 50 KWatt Generator is arranged in Ashiana.
Central Office: To
organise meetings, social works, amusements etc. for the old people
a central office building is constructed equipped with a large TV set.

This Senior Citizen Home is a part of
our social welfare services and we heartily welcome to your kind help and donation for the noble cause of old
age people. The donations or help is exempted under 80G in your Income Tax. |
