Query : please help!!! i live in a small farming community in mexico
where the soil is dry and the climate very hot. i would like to introduce a new crop to the farmers that would supply them with work and
an income year round which right now they do not have. they have began
to sell off their land piece by piece to foreign investors to earn money
so that they can take care of their daily living expenses. not a good
idea, especially not when looking ahead toward the future. eventually,
they will stand land-less and will have to be 'slaves' to those with
money. they don't know anything else so they do what they can to survive decently. i would like to help them and show them another way.
in my research, cultivation of the neem tree seems to make the most sense given all things taken into consideration. we would need help
with this project because we know nothing about how to harvest and process the leaves, fruits, seeds and bark. neem trees grow well
here. we have several growing right now even though the farmers to not
know it valuable properties. it is my vision to eventually serve as a
prototype for other farming communities in mexico, so we, as well as
others can become autonomous and self-sufficient. plus, creating an
educational program on the hazardous effects on human bodies, the earth
and our water supplies by using chemicals in our growing practices. i
hope you will be able to help us. any thing you are able to do for us
will be appreciated.
